Miller for Petal.
My name is William “EJ” Miller and I am running to be the 8th mayor of the Friendly City. A native of Petal, I am 34 years old and I have lived here all of my life. I’m a graduate of our 5-star Petal school system, as well as an International Business alumnus of the University of Southern Mississippi. I’ve spent years in hospitality, worked in the energy sector as a safety officer, and most recently as a banker here in the middle of our very city. I believe that service, optimism, and integrity should be at the forefront of a community leader’s agenda, and that’s exactly what I intend to uphold in this city.
Through the years, my love for Petal and its citizens has only grown. Petal is my home, and it’s your home too. It’s important to maintain what makes Petal the Friendly City and together, we can strive to bring the community together like never before.
It would be the honor of my life to serve Petal; I can’t thank you enough for your consideration.

Office Hours
The central aim of my campaign is to prioritize the needs of our community. This involves being accessible and receptive to the thoughts and concerns of the residents of Petal. I anticipate establishing regular office hours in the very near future. (to be determined). These open-door sessions will provide an opportunity for anyone to come with questions or concerns, or to simply engage in friendly conversation about our Friendly City.
